Maya Burns is a bilingual singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist born in California and raised in Ensenada, Mexico. Her music weaves together ranchero, bolero, jazz, folk, and funk, reflecting her rich bicultural heritage. Maya has performed at festivals including Live Oak and Jazzatlán, and served as musical director for eXtras, an award-winning play by Sabina Berman. Known for her soulful voice and genre-blending style, she is currently based in Mexico City, where she continues to compose, perform, and explore new creative directions.
